What is a digital loyalty card?

Do customers need to download an app?

No. The customer signs up on a web page, taps “Add to Wallet” and that's it. Your staff uses a web scanner from their phone — no Pointos app to install either.

On Solo you work with stamps. On Scale up, Scale pro and Business you can have stamps and points active at once (one active card of each mechanic), or just one. Discounts, coupons, cashback, gift cards and membership are also available depending on your plan.

How are stamps or points added?

From the web scanner: scan the QR on the customer's card, or look them up by name, email or phone if their phone battery died. The customer's card updates itself in their Wallet via push.

On Scale up, Scale pro and Business, you set each store's address. Apple Wallet (and Nearby on Google) can surface the card when the customer is close — it's not a campaign message Pointos sends in the moment, but operating-system relevance.

How many QR codes are there?

Only your team. The scanner requires an owner or manager session, and the customer's QR is an opaque token that only identifies them — customers can't add stamps themselves. You can also set a per-card daily stamp limit.

Yes. Every movement is logged with date, type, customer and the staff member who registered it — visible in Analytics → Customer activity.

Yes — your data is yours. In the dashboard, Customers section, the Export CSV button (owners) downloads your full base: names, contact, birthdays, stamps, points, rewards and dates. The file opens directly in Excel.
